2. General Information on Data Processing

Scope of processing of personal data

We only process personal data of our users insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users is carried out regularly only with the consent of the user. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for practical reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO/GDPR) serves as the legal basis.

For the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (GDPR) serves as the legal basis.

For the processing necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (GDPR) serves as the legal basis, provided that the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail.

Data deletion and storage duration

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Storage may also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws, or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted when a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract.

3. Provision of the Website and Creation of Log Files

Description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing device. The following data is collected:

  • Information about the browser type and version used
  • The user's operating system
  • The user's internet service provider
  • The user's IP address (anonymised)
  • Date and time of access
  • Websites from which the user's system reaches our website
  • Websites that are accessed by the user's system via our website

The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user. IP addresses are deleted or anonymised after 7 days at the latest.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (GDPR).

Purpose of data processing

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.

Our website uses only technically necessary cookies. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. No data is transmitted to third-party providers such as Google Analytics, Facebook, or similar services.

5. Contact Form and Email Contact

Description and scope of data processing

A contact form is available on our website which can be used for electronic contact. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered in the input form will be transmitted to us and stored. This data includes:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Subject
  • Message text

At the time the message is sent, the following data is also stored: date and time of transmission.

Your consent is obtained for the processing of the data during the submission process and reference is made to this privacy policy.

The legal basis for the processing of data is, where consent has been given by the user, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (GDPR). The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an email is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (GDPR).

Purpose of data processing

The processing of personal data from the input form serves us solely for handling the contact request. The data will not be passed on to third parties and is used exclusively for communication with you.

Duration of storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data from the contact form input, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is deemed to have ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved. Data relevant for tax purposes will be stored in accordance with statutory retention periods (6-10 years).

Right to object and option to remove

The user has the right to revoke consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If the user contacts us by email, they may object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. All personal data stored in the course of the contact will be deleted in this case.

6. External Services and Fonts

Google Fonts

This website uses fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When the page is loaded, the fonts are loaded from Google servers. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Google.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (GDPR) (legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the website).

8. Data Security

We use the widely adopted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser during website visits. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead.
